Product Description

Until the end of May, all NEC monitors come with SpectraView 2 (Normally $159) and FREE shipping throughout Australia. Grab a bargain today!

This model is the same as the already excellent standard PA241W but has been hand picked at NEC Japan and undergone a special baseline multi-zone internal calibration using a benchmark quality minolta lab calibrator - this base calibration is stored in the monitor itself and forms the underlying layer of the excellent ongoing performance of these screens with regular ongoing calibration via SpectraView II (this is the same approach Eizo use with the Eizo CG monitors).  We strongly recommend you purchase this model over the standard model (with SpectraView II) for best performance.  You will receive an individual report of your screen's performance with this monitor so you can be sure you are getting the very best example of the fantastic monitor.

Tackle even your most demanding color-critical projects with the 24" NEC MultiSync PA241W, a widescreen LCD display ideal for graphics/photography applications. This model features  a wide color gamut, 14-bit 3D LUT, eco-conscious features, high brightness and many cutting-edge technologies, and has created a new benchmark for accurate, consistent and repeatable color performance.

Each NEC monitor comes with an inbuilt carbon savings meter as well as the energy efficient ECOMode, that reduces power consumption while in use.

  • 98.1% coverage of AdobeRGB color space
  • Superior screen performance (1000:1 contrast ratio, 1920 x 1200 native resolution, 360cd/m2 brightness)
  • Supports best in class internal programmable 14-bit 3D lookup tables (LUTs) for calibration
  • Fully compatible with NECs excellent SpectraView II Direct Hardware Calibration System
  • 10 bit input over Display Port possible (with appropriate video cards)
  • DisplaySync ProTM controls two computers with only one keyboard and mouse
  • Color Vision Emulation for type P/D/T supporting Color Universal Design
  • AmbiBrightTM ambient light sensor automatically adjusts the display’s brightness based on lighting conditions
  • XtraView+TM technology provides for the widest viewing angles available with minimal off-angle color shift
  • Wide connectivity includes DisplayPort, two DVI-D inputs and USB hub

For best results we *strongly recommend* you also get the SpectraView II Direct Hardware Calibration System and a compatible monitor calibrator. We also offer a range of hood and cabling options that can be found within the Related Products tab above. And if you are a Mac user, you should pick up this cable.

You are welcome to come in for an NEC demo (be prepared to be blown away by the quality!)
