Product Description

(Often referred to as Crane Portfolio Rag)

Museo's new archival matte paper is 100% cotton rag - and a serious alternative to something like Hahnemuhle's venerable Photo Rag, the king of this market.

Museo Portfolio Rag is very smooth (distinctly smoother than Photo Rag), and contains absolutely no optical brighteners. And it's is actually a little brighter in tone than Photo Rag!

Since Photo Rag first appeared years ago, many papers have tried to match it, but this is quite frankly the first serious alternative! Excellent colours and d-max bring great print quality to the table. Well worth a try!

Product Reviews

  1. The best cotton rag ever

Posted by Jim on 1st Dec 2010

This is the best paper ever ever ever.
It sits flat (unlike all the rest!), has gorgeous print quality and excellent quality control.

Unlike Hahnemhule where the coating varies batch to batch quite a bit, this is the same every time and as good as it gets.

You have to try this paper!

  2. Bright, strong colours, light texture

Posted by Kevin Tucker on 9th May 2010

Brighter than Hahnemuhle photo rag with a stronger but not
too strong texture. Colour very like ilford smooth fine art if
that is any help. A good paper.
