With its extra smooth surface Photo Rag Ultra Smooth is particularly interesting for users who want proven Photo Rag quality but with less texture and a brighter white point.

Photo Rag UltraSmooth 305gsm is a photo art paper with a very smooth surface texture and slightly higher white point than Photo Rag 308. It is designed to have an exceptional ink limit for high saturation levels and a high Dmax.

The coated side of this paper provides excellent image sharpness and optimum colour graduation. The coating also offers a very high level of water resistance.

  1. Best High Key Paper

    I've been doing a great deal of printing just lately and I've also taken particular interest in the High Key style.

    While looking for the best paper for this, I've decided on two. The Hahn PR Ultra Smooth is just magnificent. It's higher white point and almost complete lack of texture make it ideal for this style. (Who cares about DMax when you have no absolute blacks in your image - but it DOES have a great DMax should you decided you want that.) It also has the advantage of a reasonable longevity - but does have OBA's added, so that could be a concern. Only one negative and that is, that it does tend to curl at the corners.
