The Epson R800 is the only A4 pigment ink printer available. It is the obvious choice if you want to make prints that last - and who doesn't?
Compared to the dye based printers on the market, the longevity of the prints from this device is remarkable. Dye based printers are excellent for proofing purposes, but if you want to make prints for your albums, and for your walls, that won't disappear in a puff of smoke within a few months, then you need pigment inks. And with this printer you get that capability without spending a fortune. This is the benchmark A4 photographic pigment printer in the world today.
Easy to use, reliable, and offering tremendous quality of prints (especially when custom profiled), this printer is perfect for anyone who is happy with print sizes A4 and below. It is particularly good with colour prints - if you're really into black and white prints, you will want to look at a printer with a dedicated black and white mode (and read this article).
Superb photographic quality colour Inkjet printer featuring Epson UltraChrome Hi-Gloss ink, red and blue inks for a wider colour gamut, Gloss Optimiser and 8 individual cartridges. Only wish it was bigger!

I've owned three of these - the first one I had for two years and I bought another one for the office recently. They are great little printers and (once properly profiled by Image Science) - I am making the best prints I have ever made!
I recently won my clubs Photographer Of The Year award so printing for myself has really worked well for me!
