We provide a variety of retouching services, from simple print-ready retouching through to more complicated grading, head swapping, montage, and exotic types of retouching.

Print Ready Retouching

The print ready retouching is charged at $60/hour.

Print Ready Retouching includes:

• cropping/rotation as required
• complete dust and scratch removal at 100% zoom
• setting of final black and white points
• basic colour balancing such as warming or cooling.

It's difficult to give an exact estimate without seeing a particular image, but in most cases 3 or more images can be retouched in an hour (A4 sizes). For larger images, say 6 by 17 scans at 900+ Mb, it may be more like a half hour to an hour per image.

Advanced Retouching

More exotic retouching, such as extracting and montaging, digital grading, head swapping, etc, is charged at $150/hour and performed exclusively by Jeremy Daalder, the Director of Image Science.
