We can direct scan any *unframed* artworks or documents up to a bit over A3 in size (297 by 420mm).  Stitching can often be used successfully with bigger pieces as well if you need something done more quickly or more cheaply than our photographic capture services.

(However, for the most part with art reproduction, we do strongly recommend very high resolution photography - please read this page).

We've completed custom profiling of our scanner with great results and it is offering quite colour accurate, sharp scans of artworks.

High Resolution Scans of Artworks

Designed to offer reproductions up to twice the original size.

• A4 (and smaller) Scans (at 600 PPI, gives 200MB for A4) - $15
  
• Sizes above A4 to A3 scans (at 600 PPI, gives 400MB for A3) - $30

Please note that we produce colour accurate raw scans for this price (just like our film scanning service). You will need to do some basic dust and scratch retouching, minor colour balancing work, and setting of final black and white points/contrast before your scans are print ready. You can also use our retouching service if you prefer.

Super High Resolution Scans of Artworks

If you need bigger scans, we can also offer these scans suitable for reproduction up to at least 4 times the original size:

• A4 (and smaller) Scans (at 1200 PPI, gives 800MB for A4) - $40
  
• Sizes above A4 to A3 scans (at 1200 PPI, gives 1.56GB for A3) - $80
