How it works in a nutshell (see below for detailed instructions)

1. Choose whether you want CDs or DVDs (-Rs or +Rs) - available in runs of 50 or 100 discs at a time.
2. Download the template files and layout your CDs in Photoshop or Photoshop Elements
   (With full colour content if you want!)
3. Send us your files and payment
4. We will return your custom printed discs within a few days!
   

About The Discs We Use

Taiyo Yuden discs are widely regarded as the best and most archival reasonably priced discs available in the world today - they are specifically designed to last the test of time. Testing indicates lifetimes approaching 100 years if your discs are properly stored. They are also very cross compatible - that is they work well in pretty much every disc playing device.

Detailed Instructions

1. Download the templates you need by clicking here.
   
   Included is a sample of a disc prepared correctly for printing - please make sure you follow this example!
   
   
2. Lay your discs out as you see fit - with the following guidelines in mind:
   
   - Stay at least 1 cm from the inner and outer edges with text/logos etc. This discs are printed 'full bleed' from edge to hub, but you will potentially lose a millimetre or three around the inner and outer edges, and sometimes the centering is not 100% perfect so we don't recommend running text closely around the edges.
   
   - Keep the bulk of your design well within the boundaries, but your background colour can extend right to (or over) the edges. You can fill the whole square with your background colour if you like, only the disc area will print of course
   
   - When finished, delete our guide layer, and flatten all other layers before supplying the files to us
   
   
3. Save the discs in .PSD or.TIF format (leaving the rings layer intact, this will be turned off before printing of course)
   
   
4. Write clear instructions in an email/text document you include with your files. Include full contact details.
   
   
5. Send/bring the files to Image Science along with your payment (add $15 for return postage if required). There are notes on how to send us your files. Payment details are here.
   
   
6. Once complete, we will send your custom printed discs back to you (or notify you when the job is ready for pick up).
