I've just finished an update to our super popular PCs for Photoshop article. 

This time around we've added a super extreme machine that has Intel's absolute latest processor in it - which is up to 50% faster than the best standard Sandy Bridge i7 processor (the 2600).   This thing is an absolute beast of a machine that will run rings around lesser PCs in sheer grunt.  There isn't a Mac that comes even close, either. If you want raw throughput with respect to image processing, this is the machine to get.

As ever you can build it yourself, or follow our recommendation and director order our specified systems from the good people at AusPC Market - Australia's best custom PC store (they recently trumped all the big suppliers like Apple, Dell, HP etc in some customer service awards).  Their are links to the pre-specified systems in the article - just folow the links, add the system to your cart, and treat yourself to a computer that won't keep you waiting!  Would make a nice self-Christmas present, wouldn't it?  (I just bought one for our services manager).
