Your roll prints may well be rolled

Please note - even if you instruct us otherwise, we may roll your prints after we have printed them.

We operate in a small inner city location and space is at a real premium - so physically, we're simply not able to facilitate these requests on all occasions. We'll try when we can, but you are much better off asking us to 'loosely roll only' - we simply don't have the space to store the scores of prints we do every week flat (we'd need literally hundreds of square metres of expensive space for this!).

Note that your prints come from a roll of paper that has probably been rolled, far tighter than we roll them post-printing - for a period of a year or more.  When we re-roll them post printing (in the same direction they were rolled in pre printing, and with archival surface protection sheeting across the entire print surface), this really doesn't do anything different/further and causes absolutely no harm.  Indeed for transport etc., the chance of harm is vastly lower as large prints are very prone to kinking if handled while flat.

In all cases, whether we store them flat or not, to get curl out of the paper, you will need to let the prints relax over a few days before use/framing/etc. (or use something to hold the prints flat if you're displaying them immediately).
