Harman Papers
Harman are a relatively new name in the inkjet world (although as the owners of the Ilford darkroom paper business it's fair to say they've been in the photographic world for quite some time!).
In 2007 the Harman Fibre Based Gloss Baryta Alumina paper is quite simply the hottest paper in the world, because it's the closest paper yet to an air dried fibre based darkroom paper. The paper has received glowing reports all over the world and our initial testing shows it lives up to its promise - with a very smooth, low gloss surface that gives prints a wonderful three dimensionality and tonal range while having no intrusive texture or excessive sparkle.
The Harman Fibre Based Matte Baryta paper is also a best in class paper - it's 100% alpha cellulose, and smooth as silk. It has a wonderful feel that only Baryta papers have, and is a nice bright white. So if you're looking for a completely matte paper, but find the popular options like Crane Portfolio Rag or Hahnemuhle Photo Rag to be too textured or not white enough, this is the paper for you. Very clean and crisp, but with all the benefits of an archival, completley matte paper (ie frames beautifully, lasts a lifetime, and zero flare!).
Warmtone versions are now available for those seeking a warmer whitepoint and/or a paper without optical brighteners.

HARMAN PHOTO Professional Inkjet GLOSS FB Al Paper is a premium quality, nanoporous paper on a true photographic fibre base. It is designed to produce instant dry high quality images on a wide range of photo-dedicated inkjet printers, using dye or pigment inks.
Uniquely the paper incorporates a layer below the ink-receiving layer called Baryta. Baryta is a special coating that is traditionally applied to fibre photographic paper base prior to coating with the emulsion layers. The technical benefits of this layer include greater detail and definition, extended tonal range, and excellent archival properties. In addition Baryta coated fibre papers have a unique look and feel which have become the standard for fine art photographers worldwide over the course of more than a century.
The paper contains Alumina, which gives a high degree of optical image density and vibrancy.
