Eizo's ColorEdge series of monitors are the premium displays on the market today. Manufactured to incredibly high standards, they offer some unique and remarkable features such as those of the CG-221 model - which offers a gamut covering the entire AdobeRGB colour space!
ColorEdge monitors are designed to meet the demands of professionals in graphic arts, printing, digital photography, and other fields requiring uncompromising colour accuracy. With high-bit hardware calibration and a wide colour gamut, you can enjoy the benefits of soft proofing and highly accurate on-screen colour checking for a more efficient workflow. Their key advantage is that in these models calibration occurs in the monitor itself, rather than at the video card, which offers greater control and accuracy.
ColorEdge CG Models: For professionals looking for premium colour performance, these models offer extensive calibration capabilities including brightness, white point, and gamma adjustment, profile generation, and post-calibration colour adjustment. All models have IPS or new generation S-PVA panels that offer precise colour display and minimal colour shift when viewed from off-centre. These models also typically offer the DUE system which makes the LCD monitor near perfectly even across the field of display - fantastic if, for example, you regularly use two views on one file for side by side retouching.
ColorEdge CE Widescreen Models: These models are based on PVA panels but still offer access to the most important elements of the internal hardware based calibrations of the CG models for extremely accurate and smooth colour - at a very affordable price!

ColorNavigator compatible calibrators include the Spyder3 series and the Eye One Display series. The Spyder3 Pro is probably the best option at the current time and with a monitor is only $260!

This CG line premium model brings colour excellence to both photographic and full high definition video work. This model accurately covers 96% of the Adobe RGB Colour space gamut!
