Archival Master Grade Media
Made in Japan, Taiyo Yudens are generally regarded as the world's best burnable discs. They actually invented a lot of this technology and many other premium disc brands are in fact just Taiyo Yuden discs renamed and increased in price!. Taiyo Yudens have about 60% of the Japanese market share and are extremely well regarded.
Taiyo Yuden CDs and DVDs are specifically designed to last longer and have much lower error rates than other types of media. We've been using them exclusively to burn our images to for several years now and have found them to be consistently excellent - no dud discs, compatible with every drive out there, and completely trustworthy. We get through literally hundereds of these every month and have never had a problem. Discs burned years ago still read flawlessly now and will still be readable decades from now.
Expected lifetimes for Taiyo Yuden media are way out ahead of other brands - 100 years and beyond if you store your discs appropriately (basically in dark, cool and dry conditions). Why is this important? Read about Digital Asset Management here.

On the question of fake TY Media:
Taiyo Yuden have a hard earned reputation as producing the best optical media available in the world today. Unfortunately, this means that some fake TY discs have been reported on internet web sites.
Our discs are imported from Taiyo Yuden Japan.
To be further absolutely sure, we regularly check both the media codes and (more importantly) the PI error rate, to make sure these are definitely the real thing. These discs are as good as you can buy - we repack them into our own spindle cases from bulk orders, and there is no real branding on the discs to speak of, but the media code and PI error rates can be tested, and as expected from genuine TY media, the results are superb - PI error rates less than 10% of the values from inferior media. It is this tiny error rate that makes TY media the best in the industry (test results noticeably better than even the 'gold' media from other companies that costs 5 to 10 times as much!).

CD/DVD Slips
These CD slips are the same as we use here - basic, but effective. Lightweight, double sided, and scratch free. They are hole punched for placing in binders and each pack of 100 can hold 200 discs - so very cost effective.
